Ice Cream Tonal Drawing.

I have been practicing my tonal drawings recently because it seems like forever since I last created some art with just a pencil (and I mean a physical pencil, not on my graphics tablet which I have been glued to for months!) I have taken my first referance from pinterest , Its a simple sketch of an ice cream cone but I paid alot of attention to the textures of the object so it did not appear flat and lifeless. This first peice has taken so long because of how out of practice I am and I think I may be being over precaustious and thinking about the marks I am making too much, despite it taking twice aslong as it used to, I have really missed graphite drawing (but not so much the mess off graphite smudges and eraser shavings).

Welcome to my art log.

Hello, I’m Charlie and this blog has been made in conjunction with my portfolio website. This site is a place where I can collate all of my artwork for Drawing 1 – Drawing Skills and also other pieces of work  have done outside of the module.
